Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How much electricity do beavertail solar tiles generate?
The output varies depending on the roof area and orientation. Up to 150 W can be achieved per m².
Are they approved for listed buildings?
Yes, plain tile solar tiles are specially designed for listed roofs and are used successfully in many projects.
How long do the solar tiles last?
SolteQ roofs are designed for a service life of over 80 years - for the PV technology we give a performance guarantee of 40 years on 80% of the installed output. The degression (loss of output) is approx. 1% per 10 years, so the output after 40 years will probably be higher than 80%.
